Quail Haven Farm is located in the beautiful Bonsall foothills, within minutes of Vista, Oceanside, Fallbrook, Valley Center, Interstates 5 and 15. We proudly offer quality hunter/jumper training and lessons that cater to horses and riders of all ages and ability levels. Through Regency Show Stables and Quail Haven Riding Academy, we not only offer training and riding lessons, we attend shows (of various levels), offer riding and educational clinics, and organize social get-togethers for our barn "family."
Quail Haven Farm is a dream realized for owners
James and Lindy Waldman.
James has been training horses and riders on a professional basis for more than twenty years. It had always been his dream to one day run his very own equestrian center - to create a safe, clean, professional, yet enjoyable facility where horses and riders weren't just clients, but sort of an "equestrian family." This is something we believe you will find when you come to Quail Haven Farm.
Lindy always imagined herself living on a farm...she loves all the horses here and you will often find her pitching in with husband James, helping to make Quail Haven Farm the beautiful place it has become. Lindy utilizes experience gained from her education in child development and pre-school teaching as well as the wealth of knowledge and skills gained from years of working with equine practicioners to enhance the quality of service that is offered at
Quail Haven Farm.
James and Lindy acquired what is now Quail Haven Farm, in June 2004. Since then, they have made several major improvements to the farm including: renovation of what is now the oversize arena with jumping bank, replacing the small arena fencing with safer PVC fence, improving the footing in each of the three arenas, cleaning and painting the classic "1926" barn, installing multiple new cross-ties, adding beautiful landscaping, and the most recent addition of the new riding academy office/tack room to name just a few improvements.
Quail Haven Farm formally opened in September of 2004 with a fully operational riding academy and we have been growing ever since! Depending on the continued growth at Quail Haven Farm, James and Lindy also hope to build additional pens and a new barn to accompany many various other improvements in the future.
